The ARC
Michigan has chosen Members Only
Software to support the management of
its WIPA
program. WIPA,
the Work Incentives Planning and
Assistance Program, is a federally authorized
program under the auspices of the Social
Security Administration. Designed to help
people with disabilities make informed choices
about work, the program provides persons with
disabilities with information and counseling
relating to benefits and employment options.
The program stresses employment incentives, and
support for returning to work.
The ARC
will also be using MEMBERS ONLY to manage the
Michigan
Alliance for Families, which is
administered by ARC staff. Michigan Alliance
for Families provides
information, support and education to families
of children and adults with disabilities from
birth to age 26 who are in the educational
system. The purpose of the project is to
increase the involvement of families in their
children's education and the educational system
in general.
