Members Only adds xCharge Vault for enhanced credit card security

As part of our efforts to help our clients achieve compliance with PCI standards and lower the risk of identity theft for their constituents, Members Only is now offering secure cloud-based offsite storage of credit card numbers for repeat billing.  This service is offered through integration with the xCharge Vault product provided by our credit card processing partner, CAM Commerce Solutions, Inc. xCharge is certified by the PCI as compliant with its PA-DSS security standards for payment applications. 

Many of our customers need to charge constituents' credit cards on a monthly basis for dues, program fees, or a sponsorship. But storing these account numbers exposes
an organization to liability. And PCI security standards make it costly to do so in a compliant fashion.

The xCharge Vault allows an organization to keep account numbers available for repeat charging of dues or donations, without the exposure of directly storing sensitive data.  With Vault Integration,  when you tell Members Only to store a constituent's credit card number for future use, Members Only sends it off to the Vault. The Vault in turn sends back an "key" for this account number. Members Only records only the key. Any time you need to charge this customer's stored card for a purchase made through Members Only, the Members Only software asks xCharge to bill it against the alias. xCharge finds the proper account to charge, and does so without ever transferring the card number back to you.
